The Mill opened in 2014 and has been giving the Hershey area some of the best scratch kitchen meals around. They strive to use locally-sourced, high-quality ingredients from local farms, artisanal food producers, and fisherman.

“Our award-winning cocktails include fresh fruits and herbs to add the flair and quality expected of scratch restaurants,” says Jody Rafferty, owner.

Jim and Jody Rafferty grew up in the restaurant biz and actually met while working in a Hershey area restaurant.

“Food has always been a big part of our lives,” says Jim, former executive chef.

The Rafferty’s love the history of this building, which served as a feed mill called Curry Mill many years ago. When the Rafferty’s purchased the building, they spent 2 years molding it into the restaurant it is today. It boasts original large wood beams and stone walls.

I was surprised at the ample meeting and party spaces available here. I’ll have to plan a party just to enjoy the space!

With scratch made dishes and craft cocktails on any of the three spacious floors, when you come here you’ll see The Mill is way more than just a “run-of-the-mill” place to eat.
