Donna Mervine Jefferson bought Simply J in a whirlwind after a 30 year career in IT with Highmark.

"The opportunity presented itself and I went for it. A month or so later, I was the owner of Simply J and fully immersed in learning the business, pretty much trial by fire," says Donna.

It’s been a great ride for the past six years. Her favorite part of owning the business is interacting with the customers.

"The privilege to get to know so many members of the local community. I am humbled by the customers who trust me with not just their fashion needs but also their personal stories both good and bad. Our goal has always been to create a shopping environment that is warm and friendly and I think we've achieved that."
